Dance Companies
All That Dance Studio has two dance companies-a competition and performing arts troupe for students, ages 7 and up, and a professional dance company. The Xquisite Youth Dance Company was formed for students who want to perform, compete, and love to dance. To become a team member, a dancer must audition, be committed, and possess a positive attitude. Upon selection, company dancers must enroll in both ballet and jazz classes. The dancers must possess strong dance technique, be energetic, and willing to meet the challenges as a team dancer. In addition, the company dancers must attend weekly company classes, summer repertory classes, and master teachers’ classes or workshops. Each company dancer will have the opportunity to perform in at least one competition and they will perform for community events during the year. Two production numbers will be choreographed for the company dancers, which the dancers will perform in the annual holiday show in December and in the recital. In addition, the company dancers will showcase their pieces at the studio’s Spring Gala. Many of the teen and advanced company dancers have performed in the Miss America’s Show Us Your Shoes Parade, held in Atlantic City and in the Miss Cumberland County Pageant. All of the company dancers performed in the Harlem Globetrotters' Game in 2019.
The Omni Contemporary Dance Company is a professional dance company, based in South Jersey. The company supports the choreographic vision and works of its artistic directors. These talented dancers infuse ballet, modern, tap, contemporary, and jazz dance styles which include but is not limited to social issues, visual arts, literature, and historical events. Its mission is to provide a high quality dance education with performance to its audiences and its dancers will promote, encourage, and increase awareness and appreciation for the arts. The Omni Contemporary Dance Company's vision is to educate the Delaware Valley with its artistic contemporary dance excellence by commissioning the works of emerging local and national choreographers and to present the works to diverse communities. OCDC accomplishes this through its educational outreach programs which includes performances, workshops, residencies, lectures, and demonstrations. Many of its dancers share their love and knowledge of dance with the students at its affilated school, All That Dance Studio.
